32èmes rencontres sur la grippe et sa prévention

Au fil des ans, il se confirme que la grippe saisonnière est un enjeu majeur de santé publique, et que les outils mis en place par les différents acteurs de la surveillance et de la recherche pour comprendre sa pathogenèse et mesurer son impact arrivent à nous fournir des informations de plus en plus riches et précises.

Par ailleurs, le Groupe GEIG de la Société Française de Microbiologie (SFM) réalise depuis de nombreuses années une enquête visant à recueillir, en population générale, la perception de la vaccination contre la grippe, mais aussi à estimer les taux et intentions de vaccination.

Enfin, la grippe est une infection qui est fréquemment associée à d’autres pathogènes qui participent aussi au fardeau de la grippe. La compréhension du risque et des facteurs associés à ces risques va nous permettre de mieux prévenir ces coinfections.

Les XXXIIèmes Rencontres sur la grippe seront l’occasion de faire le point sur la vaccination contre la grippe en France, de réfléchir sur le risque croisé infection grippale / infection à pneumocoque, et d’envisager les outils permettant l’étude des facteurs de l’hôte et des caractéristiques virales pouvant être associés aux infections sévères.
