Microbiologiste de formation, ayant une forte compétence en biologique moléculaire et une expérience souhaitée en microbiologie environnementale et/ou écologie microbienne, le/la candidate devra développer une démarche scientifique intégrée combinant des approches moléculaires modernes à celles de la biochimie et de la physiologie bactérienne.

Profil enseignement :
Le(la) candidat(e) recruté(e) intégrera l’équipe pédagogique en place pour participer (1) aux enseignements de microbiologie générale et (2) aux enseignements transversaux de microbiologie appliquée aux biotechnologies et la qualité sanitaire de l’environnement. Il s’agit principalement d’enseignements qui sont proposés au sein de la Faculté de Pharmacie de Nancy (tronc commun, UEL). Dans une moindre mesure, le candidat sera éventuellement amener à soutenir l’équipe pédagogique dans son investissement au niveau du Master de Microbiologie proposé par la Faculté des Sciences et Technologies.
Idéalement le candidat devra être capable d’enseigner la microbiologie générale (identification, caractérisation de microorganismes) mais aussi de présenter une vision intégrée de la microbiologie, combinant des notions de biochimie, de génétique, de physiologie ou encore de biologie moléculaire. Cette vision intégrée de la microbiologie devra aussi, dans certains cas, replacer le microbe dans le contexte environnemental pour tenir compte des interactions entre le micro-organisme et son environnement immédiat (biotique ou non). Il est attendu que la personne recrutée intervienne en cours, TD, et TP sur des enseignements préexistants mais aussi, le cas échéant, de participer à l’élaboration de nouvelles unités d’enseignement.

Profil recherche :
Le (la) lauréat(e) sera affecté(e) à l’équipe de Microbiologie Environnementale (MIC) du LCPME, et se joindra aux efforts de l’équipe pour étudier la dynamique et la réactivité des systèmes microbiens environnementaux, qu’ils soient sous formes planctoniques ou agrégés comme les biofilms. Il s’agira d’approfondir la réflexion de l’équipe sur les mécanismes au travers desquels les bactéries de systèmes libres ou agrégés se développent, répondent aux conditions environnementales, ou influencent leur environnement à travers leur réactivité vis-à-vis du matériau support ou de leur environnement chimique. La personne recrutée sera en charge d’initier une recherche visant à expliquer, en termes moléculaire, (1) les phénomènes biologiques ou physico-chimiques induits par le vivant aux interfaces bactérie-bactérie et bactérie-support abiotique et (2) les mécanismes de réponse et d’adaptation qui peuvent en découler, à travers des processus de régulations physiologiques et génétiques mis en place à l’échelle de la cellule et de populations bactériennes. Des approches de génomique environnementale et/ou d’écologie fonctionnelle sont envisagées. La personne recrutée sera amenée à travailler à différentes échelles d’objets (d’organismes modèles en souche pure à des communautés naturelles), étudiés dans le temps et différents environnements (in vitro, en microcosmes, en réacteurs ou sur des sites de terrain) afin de proposer une vision intégrée de la dynamique du système microbien dans et avec son environnement.

Outre son propre projet de recherche, le (la) candidat(e) recruté(e) devra montrer une sensibilité et des compétences pour l’analyse globale de métagénomes microbiens et leurs compartimentations dans l’environnement, tant physique (cellules libres vs biofilms) que biologique (bactéries, virus, vésicules, …). Cette personne devra pouvoir devenir le référent « métagénomique » du laboratoire et de son plateau technique BME.
